Copywriters play essential roles in the strategy, conception and design of beautiful ideas, products and services. They bring exceptional creative thought and craft output, developing and delivering projects from brief to production and beyond, work that is distinctive, effective and truly remarkable.

As a Senior Copywriter at our London Studio, you will be a key player (or with your Creative Team Art Director partner) in shaping transformative work for both regional and global clients. You will leverage your exceptional creative thought and craft skills to produce ideas and experiences that resonate across markets. This role offers you the opportunity to work alongside multidisciplinary creatives within our studio and across the global AKQA network.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Autonomously lead the development of creative work across a variety of projects and clients, with oversight from an ACD or CD.
  • Demonstrate exceptional execution skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Inspire and embrace challenges and innovative ways of thinking.
  • Create and manage original, persuasive, and conceptually compelling work for experiences, campaigns, brand identities, and digital products.
  • Collaborate with teams and colleagues across the AKQA network.
  • Present ideas internally and externally to senior clients.
  • Contribute to thought leadership activities and foster professional development and inspiration within the team.


QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS

  • 5+ years of relevant creative agency or brand-side experience working on large global projects/clients.
  • A portfolio showcasing crafted, globally recognized brand, campaign, and experience work, including case studies demonstrating a direct impact on client business.
  • Experience in digital product work as well as through-the-line storytelling.
  • Confident presenter of ideas both internally and to clients.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills, with strong interpersonal and cross-departmental abilities.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, though candidates from all disciplines are welcome.
  • Extensive experience with software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and Keynote.
  • A natural curiosity that allows you to find inspiration in everything, with a keen eye on the future of media and technology.
  • A drive to break boundaries and craft the best ideas in the world.
  • Excellent writing skills in English.
  • A craft-driven approach to executing work, presentations, and overall creative endeavours.
