GEA Pavan Group is one of the world market leaders in the design, engineering and construction of integrated production lines for cereal-based foods, offering industrial solutions starting from the handling of raw materials up to the finished and packaged product. To date, it offers the widest range of solutions for the production of dry and fresh pasta, snacks and breakfast cereals.
The candidate will be placed in the Finance area and will be part of the Controlling team, reporting to the Head of Controlling. Main activities are:
- Entity controlling: steer the processes of controlling, budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, taking the responsibility of one of our BU’s entities;
- Enhance site controlling on operational performance and efficiency of direct departments in different plants to ensure cost absorption and profitability;
- Promote and support initiatives of continuous improvement with other departments, e.g.: enhancing offer calculation, costing of materials, hourly rate management, etc.
- Provide guidance to other departments in Capex planning, supporting them with the preparation of business plans for decision taking, in line with GEA Corporate Governance;
- Involvement in workshops and improvement projects in order to increase collaboration across different departments.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Candidate profile
- Economic/financial degree;
- At least 5 years of experience in Controlling and cost accounting within series production, ideally in multinational companies or large organizations. Experience in project business will be a plus;
- Fluency in English
- Excellent knowledge of the Office package
- Good knowledge of SAP S4 Hana, especially FI-CO module
- Good experience in interpretation and steering of balance sheet and income statement
