What will you do?
The production of corrugated cardboard and its processing into packaging is a very specific process. The start of this process begins with our corrugated cardboard machine, where corrugated cardboard sheets are made. These sheets are then processed into boxes in the Processing department by cutting, folding, printing, and die-cutting them. And all of this, of course, follows specific designs, qualities, and sizes that are unique for each customer.
The Corrugated Cardboard Machine department works in a 3-shift system. You and your team are responsible for the qualitative and quantitative production of the corrugated cardboard machine. As a Senior Control Room Operator, you can independently operate all four parts of two corrugated cardboard machines in our Control Room. Safety, quantity, and quality are your pillars, and in the absence of the Team Leader, you take over their tasks.
Your tasks and responsibilities also include:
-
Checking the schedule (order, settings, etc.).
-
Ensuring the availability of necessary materials – overseeing the loading/unloading of paper rolls.
-
Starting up the corrugated cardboard machine, operating the glue kitchen, and managing the boiler room.
-
Monitoring the production process, checking variables (temperatures, moisture levels, etc.).
-
Supervising the quality and quantity of products, performing checks.
-
Identifying deviations, investigating causes, and solving more complex deviations in the equipment.
-
Ensuring the handover of tasks and equipment during shift changes, providing details on any specifics.
What are we looking for?
-
You have a vocational (MBO) level of working and thinking, preferably with a technical background (e.g., VAPRO A or B).
-
Willingness to follow internal training.
-
Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
-
You are motivated and show visible initiative.
-
You are quick to learn (able to quickly master new things) and results-oriented.
-
You are capable of working well in a team.
-
Experience with machine-based production is a must.
-
Experience with PC operation and programs in a production environment.
-
Familiarity with corrugated cardboard products is a plus.
What do we offer you?
-
A fixed-term contract with the prospect of a permanent position.
-
A competitive salary with a pension plan and travel expenses reimbursement.
-
We are a fast-growing company, so there is room for you to grow as well.
