About the Role:

We're seeking a Senior Content Designer to join our mission of improving the financial services for immigrants and their families worldwide. You'll shape critical product experiences by deeply understanding our customers' content needs. You'll create and iteratively refine content for Remitly's virtual assistant and other UX content design projects based on feedback and insights. You'll also maintain consistency across all product touchpoints and expertise in crafting voice and tone. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Content Design, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the enhancing the Remitly customer experience and be a key contributor to the content design team standards and team dynamic.

What you'll do:

1: Create the product content design for Remitly's virtual assistant (chatbot). Establish content strategy, patterns, and best practices for the experience. Identify content needs and gaps and determine the overall user journey–and the best elements and components from our design system to leverage (or establish in partnership with the design systems team). Partner closely with the product design, product management, and engineering teams to create a friction-free, high-impact product experience. Establish and refine product voice and tone.

2: Collaborate closely with partner teams (product management, product design, legal/compliance, engineering, UX research, customer success, voice of customer, analytics, brand, marketing, etc.) to strategize and evolve how the virtual assistant fits into the overall Remitly product strategy and customer experience. Work to align messaging across customer touchpoints (keep content consistent across the app and customer experience as a whole).

3: Help grow content design and product at Remitly by ensuring content is clear, actionable, complete, concise, conversational, accessible, on-brand, and easy to translate/localize. Contribute to the expansion and optimization of our content design system, product design system, and resources.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $124,000-$155,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
