Role Specific Duties:
- Lead major workstreams within large IT modernization programs.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and resource estimates.
- Manage client relationships and expectations at the program level.
- Develop and implement Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) strategies for specific project components.
- Design and oversee the execution of strategic roadmaps, resource optimization plans, and benefits tracking systems within your workstream(s).
- Provide SPM consultation to clients, presenting complex ideas to senior leadership.
- Manage and mentor a team of Consultants, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Identify workstream-level risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies.
- Coach and develop more junior consultants.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in technology consulting.
- Strong knowledge of federal IT systems and modernization approaches.
- Experience with program/project management tools and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience with Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) tools (e.g., ServiceNow SPM) and agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)) is highly desired.
- Strong understanding of Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) concepts and proven ability to apply them in various contexts.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearances.
- May require up to 10% travel.
- Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for 3 years and be Federal Tax compliant.
