You will play a lead role in our Global Privacy Operations team, focused on US Privacy and working with a range of stakeholders across Solutions, Technology, Privacy Operations, Legal and Compliance. We pride ourselves on delivering measurable impact whilst supporting both our team and broader colleagues.
What You'll Bring:
- 3+ years’ experience of comprehensive US state privacy regulations, such as the CCPA
- Experience in a privacy management or privacy operations function
- Knowledge of the product development lifecycle
- Ability to act with relative autonomy while using good judgement to engage with management and impacted stakeholders
- Demonstrable experience in analyzing, organizing, and communicating complex work
- An enthusiasm for building and strengthening relationships at all levels across the organization
- An eagerness for acting as a trusted advisor to our stakeholders
We’d Love to See:
- Experience in a privacy function within financial services, or technology or other regulated industries
- Experience of a global technology organization
- Privacy credentials (e.g. Certified Information Privacy Professional - CIPP)
- Experience in the development or management of effective scalable processes
- Experience with OneTrust or privacy information management systems
- Experience with data flows and privacy-enhancing technologies
- Experience with delivering training and developing stakeholder knowledge
Impact You'll Make:
- Support TransUnion’s Privacy Framework by ensuring compliance with data privacy laws, policies, standards and controls
- Assess the privacy impact of new services or enhancements to existing services
- Provide stakeholders with actionable advice to manage privacy risk
- Conduct and prepare privacy risk assessments
- Create and maintain an accurate register of data assets and data processing activities
- Deliver on metrics which demonstrate privacy’s contribution to the organization
- Identify and escalate relevant privacy risk items to the US Privacy Operations Manager
- Support the delivery of regional privacy policies, procedures, processes and controls
- On the advice of the Privacy Legal team, implement changes necessary to adhere to new regulations, and to respond to regulatory audits
- Support data incident response as required, including breach determination and regulatory notification processes
- Assist with regional and global data privacy projects as required
- Act on the direction of the Privacy Operations management team as directed

This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
