Group 1001 is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Consultant in Talent Management to lead the design, development, and facilitation of professional development workshops and programs. This role will be responsible for identifying training needs, creating impactful learning experiences, and delivering engaging content that enhances the skills and performance of our employees. As a member of our Talent Management team, the Senior Consultant will have the opportunity to help build our learning strategy and ensure training programs align with organizational goals and foster a culture of continuous learning.

 

Main Accountabilities

 

  • Design, develop and deliver impactful professional development workshops and training programs for employees at all levels.
  • Develop, manage, and facilitate leadership development programs to cultivate leadership skills and enhance the overall capabilities of our current and emerging leaders.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skills gaps and design customized learning solutions that address professional development needs.
  •  Construct lesson plans and related materials, including but not limited to activities, case studies, job aids, worksheets, etc. for in-person/virtual training courses.
  •  Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs using various assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to ensure continuous improvement.
  •  Effectively coach others to improve performance and help guide career development.
  • Participate in departmental and cross-functional working groups and display proficient project management skills and collaborative mindset.
  •  Stay current with learning and development industry trends and best practices to ensure innovative and effective training solutions.
  • Manage multiple learning initiatives, programs, and projects simultaneously.
  • Partner with outside learning consultants to design and implement effective learning solutions and outcomes.
  • Minimal travel required up to 10%-15%.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience required.
  • Minimum 7+ years in designing and facilitating learning solutions, including leading leadership development workshops and programs.
  •  Possess strong consultative skills to identify performance gaps and appropriate learning solutions.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • A high-level results orientation with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience using evidence-based assessment tools and frameworks (e.g. 360-degree feedback, DiSC, StrengthsFinder, or similar)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with effective time management skills
  • Ability to influence others without authority, particularly middle and upper management.
  • Strategic and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio).
  • Proficient in Teams
  • Proficient in Survey Monkey (or similar survey tool).
  • SharePoint experience an asset.
  • Learning management system (LMS) experience an asset.
