GENERAL SUMMARY/OVERVIEW:
As a Senior Process Mining Consultant, you will combine strategic consulting expertise with strong technical acumen to lead client engagements that transform business processes across key functional areas such as finance, procurement, supply chain, and customer service. Using the industry-leading ARIS Process Mining you will enable clients to uncover inefficiencies, identify improvement opportunities, and deliver actionable insights to optimize workflows and drive measurable business value.
In this role, you will also ensure the technical integrity of process mining solutions, managing data pipelines and enabling seamless integration between systems and tools. Your ability to bridge the gap between business and technology will be instrumental in delivering scalable and impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process Mining and Analysis
- Conduct in-depth process mining analyses to visualize and optimize end-to-end workflows.
- Leverage advanced process mining techniques to uncover inefficiencies and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and present compelling analytics dashboards and KPIs that translate complex data into actionable business insights.
2. Data Integration and Preparation
- Design and manage data pipelines to ingest, clean, and prepare data for process mining analysis.
- Ensure seamless integration between process mining tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or other enterprise data sources.
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and governance.
3. Strategic Consulting
- Work closely with senior business leaders to identify key improvement opportunities aligned with organizational goals.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring strategic alignment and value delivery.
- Define clear KPIs and success metrics for initiatives and measure their outcomes.
4. Optimization and Change Management
- Develop strategies and recommendations for workflow optimization and process reengineering.
- Lead initiatives that enhance cost efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Act as a change champion, driving adoption of new processes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
5. Solution Development and Enablement
- Configure ARIS Process Mining to meet specific client needs.
- Train client teams on process mining methodologies and tools, enabling self-sufficiency.
- Build scalable solutions that clients can independently leverage for ongoing improvement.
6. Project Leadership
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of process mining projects, from scoping to execution and post-implementation review.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful outcomes.
- Provide technical and strategic leadership to project teams and clients.
Required Skills and Competencies
1. Process Mining Expertise
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with process mining tools, such as ARIS Process Mining, Celonis, or similar platforms.
- Deep understanding of process visualization, root cause analysis, and KPI development.
2. Technical Acumen
- Proficiency in ETL processes, including data ingestion, transformation, and preparation.
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, or similar languages for data manipulation and analysis.
- Familiarity with data integration tools and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and their data structures.
3. Strategic and Analytical Thinking
- Ability to synthesize complex datasets into actionable insights that align with business objectives.
- Strong understanding of core business processes in areas such as finance, procurement, and supply chain.
4. Communication and Leadership
- Exceptional ability to present technical concepts and business insights to non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing client relationships effectively.
5. Certifications (Preferred)
- Certifications in process mining (e.g., ARIS, Celonis) or related fields.
- Data engineering certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics) are a plus.
6. Soft Skills
- Proactive problem-solver with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to drive alignment across diverse teams.
Education & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 3–5 years of professional services experience in process mining and business process optimization.
- Strong technical background in data engineering and integration.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering impactful transformation projects with measurable outcomes.
- ARIS product expertise and working with large, preferably global teams.
What’s in it for you?
Compensation
The annual base salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $120,000.00.
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents and award agreements.
