This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to further develop and deploy client engagement, project management, survey/data management and product development skills in a fast-paced, growing firm – with lots of scope for independent delivery and impact.

In this position, you will be responsible for managing NousCubane’s support to UK and Irish universities as they collect, quality assure and manage survey and other resourcing data to allow them to understand their performance. You will work closely with clients directly throughout the end-to-end data collection, data validation and benchmarking process. Working with the client teams at top UK universities, you will be the key contact for the participating universities through the annual cycle, also responsible for client process and service improvements.

As a Senior Consultant, you will play an active role in your own, and team development, contributing to input that helps inform NousCubane’s business strategy.

You will:

  • Take overall responsibility for support to UK and Irish universities around data collection via surveys and our technical data platform.

Key Accountabilities:

Collections & data quality assurance

  • Ensuring data collection is planned and delivered efficiently and effectively and that university teams understand the end-to-end process, inputs required and support available.

  • Prepare and lead client operations workshops including data collection kick-off and technical briefings and 121 calls to provide hands-on support where issues arise and guidance is needed.

Product development and operations improvement

  • Play an active role in the continuous improvement of NousCubane’s global data collection guidance, frameworks, and technology platforms – working collaboratively with colleagues in the UK, Australia, and North America

  • Gather client feedback and suggestions to support the operations improvement cycle and NousCubane’s collections developments, including through personally leading client workshops


A bit about you:

  • 2-3+ years’ experience in a technical consulting, research/survey management, or data management role involving complex projects with multiple stakeholders

  • A relationship builder, adept at engaging with clients to understand their needs and working with colleagues to generate solutions

  • Experience managing or coordinating complex data collection processes including proven ability handling large data sets using Excel and other relevant technology platforms

  • Proficient using business intelligence tools and data analysis to test hypotheses and identify data quality issues and unexpected changes

  • Ability to create high quality client-ready deliverables that convey complex information and guidance accessibly, e.g. for training purposes

  • Excellent attention to detail, and high standards of presentation

  • A proactive team player who takes responsibility for delivering work, a positive attitude and proven ability to be flexible and adaptable as demands change

  • Strongly purpose-oriented, with a passion for helping organisations and a clear social purpose to succeed and improve

  • Familiar with the software development lifecycle especially around user-centred development e.g. requirements gathering, use cases (preferred)

This is a full-time role, available on a hybrid basis with lots of scope for flexible working with the expectation of weekly travel to the central London office.
