We are seeking a Senior Payroll Consultant to join Highstreet, an Oracle Cloud Managed Services and Implementation partner. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a complete and thorough understanding of payroll processes and will have executed payroll regularly in public sector, K12 and higher education institutions. In addition, the ideal candidate will have successfully served as a consultant to these clients, advising them on process improvements as well as and implementation or support of new ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion Cloud.


As a Senior Process Consultant, you will focus on ensuring a quality and effective experience for our Oracle Cloud customers from the upfront sales activities through implementation and on ongoing advisory managed services. The successful candidate ensures that the project and follow-on advisory services provided by Highstreet evolves to ensure we continually deliver measurable business value to our clients. We are looking for someone who develops and maintains strong and balanced relationships with new and existing clients while achieving account revenue and profitability targets in their portfolio of clients. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes; solutioning and problem solving; ability to guide and persuade clients to adopt the solution; and strong leadership skills to ensure successful outcomes for Highstreet and our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

•Build and maintain strong client relationships, including the c-suite, by understanding their business needs and challenges for a portfolio of customers who are using Oracle Cloud applications.

•Serve as an SME and key point of contact for HCM business users, developing, recommending and delivering solutions to improve their business.

•Lead effort in creative approaches to problem-solving and quality deliverables which lead to our clients effectively and efficiently performing their job function in Oracle Fusion Cloud.

•Thoroughly understand and support the delivery of Highstreet’s services to our clients so that clients value the operational and business benefits these services are delivering.

•Understand the client’s business, functional and IT strategies, goals, and priorities, to enable and continue their business transformation. Develop and deliver key components of strategic roadmap and account plans for clients. Ensure solutions we provide meet the client’s goals and needs as well as Highstreet’s objectives.

•Identify and develop strategies services and offerings to continually expand Highstreet’s value to our clients.

•Work across internal teams especially our sales organization, to identify, develop and win new sales opportunities in client accounts.

•Conduct training sessions and workshops for end users, ensuring smooth adoption of the Oracle Fusion Cloud modules.

•Identify potential risks and challenges throughout a project life cycle and develop mitigation plans to manage the issues.

•Communicate project progress, challenges and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, present complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner. Develop and execute account management programs. Plan, manage and successfully lead regular business reviews with both internal customer stakeholders including C-suite audiences

•Mentor and develop a team of professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

•Represent Highstreet’s values and brand in all interactions


 Requirements:

•BA or BS Degree in Finance, Accounting or Human Resources related fields, particularly payroll.

•Experience in Management Consulting.

•7+ years of client consultative experience in account management, sales, customer implementation or support services enabling business process improvement in human resources ERP applications.

•5+ years in a payroll position in public sector, K-12 or Higher Education using and enterprise class ERP application. Detailed knowledge of all aspects of payroll such as W-4, W-2, taxes, union contracts, primary and adjunct roles, and various pay schedules.

•Demonstration of a strong human resources functional aptitude, including payroll processes along with evidence using and supporting related systems and technologies to manage the business.

•Proven track record of successfully developing strong relationships with all levels of the client’s organization, particularly with the CFO, CHRO and other c-suite decision-makers

•Proven ability to analyze data, diagnose client needs, make accurate conclusions, and provide recommendations, convincing client to improve their business through your recommended system enhancements and expansion.

•Clear ability to think strategically, develop plans and execute programs methodically through an entire project or client relationship lifecycle

•Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and comfort working through ambiguous situations with a portfolio of clients

•Proven track record of navigating through client’s request while developing, recommending and selling solutions that the client really needs but may not understand or be able to articulate.

•Excellence in evaluating solutions against the real client’s needs to ensure their current and future business needs are met with their new system.

•Demonstrated ability to develop authentic relationships and conduct substantive content discussions with key decision-makers to align with client priorities.

•Excellent leadership and motivational skills to rally and lead people through changes. Mature skills to manage and drive global cross functional teams to successful outcomes for your clients.

•Clear, compelling, and concise written and oral communication skills including exceptional active listening skills with a clear understanding and ability to tailor the messaging appropriately for C-level executive stakeholders to junior team members. 

•30% Milestone travel is required 


 Preferred Qualifications:

•Experience using and operating in Oracle ERP applications such as PeopleSoft or Oracle Fusion Cloud to perform HR related functions.

•Experience implementing or supporting clients in Oracle ERP applications such as PeopleSoft or Oracle Fusion Cloud.
