Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary:

At Acrisure, our Account Executives are pivotal in delivering exceptional service and innovative insurance solutions to our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with precision and professionalism. You will leverage your expertise in underwriting, professional liability, management liability and surplus lines to meet the needs of the clients within your book of business. Our ideal candidate is a proactive and driven professional with a proven track record in underwriting, customer service, insurance sales, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering superior client experiences. 

Responsibilities: 

• Building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with clients and prospects

• Growing assigned books of business

• Identifying new program opportunities

• Negotiating terms and coverage with underwriters and carriers 

• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies and following all surplus lines regulations

• Providing exceptional customer service and support throughout the client lifecycle 

• Complying with all binding authority underwriting and reporting requirements

• Analyzing application information, rating and underwriting risks, providing formal proposals of insurance and issuing policies

• Develop and deliver formal proposals of insurance including details of coverage, limits, deductibles, and other pertinent information. 

• Collaborate with Account Manager to ensure complete company submissions and account service, including claims issues. 

• Secure quotes, negotiate premiums and commissions, prepares proposals and corresponding presentations for accounts outside of underwriting authority

• Bind coverage, prepare binders, and delegate certificates. 

• Process policy changes and corresponding documents. 

• Participate in carrier/wholesaler meetings for relationship development. 

• Serves as technical expert, assisting insureds and department members to resolve complex issues. 

Requirements:

• Ability and previous experience working fully remote.

• Specific experience handling program business.

• Previous experience underwriting legal professional liability and renewing a book of business.

• Previous experience with nonprofit d&o business is a plus.

• Applied Epic experience preferred  

• 5+ years experience working a book as a Commercial Lines Account Manager.

• P & C licensed in their own state.
