We are currently hiring a remote Senior Azure Cloud Solutions Engineer (Pre Sales)!! This remote job pays between $110K - $120K annually.

As a Senior Azure Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will have extensive experience in Azure cloud platforms, with AWS and GCP being a plus. You will deeply understand the Microsoft suite, including Microsoft 365 applications, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Intune. 

You will be a trusted advisor to clients, collaborating closely to understand their business operations, challenges, and growth goals. You will provide IT solutions that resolve current issues and add strategic value, assisting clients in scaling their operations and maintaining their competitiveness.  You will lead discussions on infrastructure design, cloud migration strategies, and network security planning.  You will have a proven history of designing comprehensive solutions that integrate smoothly into a client's existing operations, minimizing disruptions and maximizing ROI. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Azure cloud platforms and a strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and frameworks
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and design customized cloud solutions that leverage Azure, with AWS and GCP as additional options
  • Technical Presentations: Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing the value and benefits of proposed Azure-based solutions
  • Proposal Development: Assist in the development of technical proposals, including solution architecture diagrams, implementation plans, and cost estimates
  • Customer Engagement: Act as the technical point of contact for customers during the pre-sales phase, addressing technical queries and providing detailed explanations of proposed solutions
  • Proof of Concept (PoC): Lead and manage PoC projects, ensuring successful demonstration of the solution's capabilities and benefits to the client
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the product development and engineering teams to stay updated on the latest Azure product features and enhancements
  • Training and Enablement: Provide training and support to internal sales teams on cloud technologies and best practices related to Azure, with awareness of AWS and GCP
  • Market Insight: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to provide strategic insights and recommendations

What skills and certifications will you be bringing to the position?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pre-sales engineering role, focusing on Azure cloud platforms and infrastructure solutions
  • Azure Platforms: Proficiency in Azure with relevant certifications preferred (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect). Knowledge of AWS and GCP is a plus
  • Infrastructure as Code: Strong experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
  • Technical Skills: Deep understanding of Azure architecture, networking, security, and automation
  • Microsoft Suite: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365 applications, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Intune
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • DevOps: Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
  • Security: Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards
