Primary Function
This role is essential for ensuring the seamless operation and security of cloud networks, making it a vital position in any organization leveraging Azure technologies. The main focus will be developing and deploying Azure-based network architectures, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

Principal Duties:
- Monitor Network Performance: Continuously monitor Azure network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize performance.
- Troubleshoot Network Issues: Diagnose and resolve network problems to minimize downtime and service interruptions.
- Collaborate with IT Teams: Work closely with other IT professionals to design and implement efficient network configurations.
- Ensure Network Security: Implement and maintain security systems and protocols to protect network integrity.
- Manage Network Hardware and Software: Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software within Azure environments.
- Documentation and Reporting: Create detailed network reports and maintain documentation of network configurations and changes.
- Provide Technical Support: Offer technical support and guidance to end users and team members.

Education and Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ work experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on cloud environments, particularly Azure.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in networking, routing, and switching; experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security.
- Azure Expertise: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure solutions, including virtual networks, VPN configurations, and hybrid cloud strategies.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate, Cisco (CCNA, CCNP), or equivalent
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
