Hybrid model 3 days per week in the office /2 days for a parent of a child up to 4 years

Join us as a Senior Cash Processing Specialist!

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting a Senior Cash Processing Specialist. In this role you will be responsible for providing cash management support to clients. This involves multi-currency balance monitoring and reconciliation, cash projection and availability, inquiry response, and cash reporting. In addition, the Cash Representative is the primary day to day contact for clients and is responsible for timely research and resolution of all internal and external cash inquiries and cash breaks.

Some of your key responsibilities include:  

  • Reconcile client cash balances, calculate and update client cash projections, and monitor projected and actual overdrafts and long balances
  • Produce and deliver daily cash reporting to clients timely and accurately
  • Maintain a solid understanding of client's normal cash practices and deadlines
  • Research and resolve all client cash inquiries in accordance with Global Cash Services procedures and controls
  • Ensure timely and accurate responses to internal and external clients
  • Work closely with the client, Client Service teams, Treasury, Funds Transfer, and R&A to foster strong working relationships
  • Promptly escalate sensitive/risk issues to management
  • Assist coworkers when needed
  • Continually cross train with other colleagues to assist with coverage during absences
  • Enhance quality and efficiency by identifying process improvements
  • Efficiently utilize BBH systems and tools/cash products to maximize productivity
  • Keep abreast of market changes and impact to cash processes/settlements
  • Understand and monitor cash restrictions and penalties in local markets to avoid potential risk to the client and/or the firm

Desired Qualifications:

  • BS/BA Degree, and/or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of professional experience, financial services background preferred
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
  • Strong aptitude for numbers and 100% accuracy on tasks completed.
  • Desire to provide superior internal and external client service.
  • Working knowledge of global cash and FX markets, a plus.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments and work quickly and accurately in a deadline- oriented environment
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of Excel and Access.
  • Technical proficiency in internal and/or web-based systems a plus
  • Analytical ability
