What you will be doing:
- Create, implement and manage procurement policies and procedures.
- Responsible the procurement and manufacturing for the company's disposable product line.
- Manage Full Turnkey (FTK) end-to-end supply chain disposables operations.
- Support transition to FTK with sub-contractors.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Work with company teams, such as: Supply Chain planning, engineering, logistics etc. to:
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of products and materials
- Analyze trends and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities and supplier performance metrics. Purchasing-related processes implementation, ongoing improvement, management & visualization, including costing maintenance, cost reduction management, engineering & NPI interfaces, and LLIs management.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to achieve cost-effective solutions without compromising on time delivery and quality
- Working according to Insightec Quality Policy, relevant Quality Procedures & Standards, and privacy & safety rules.
- On-site presence of up to two days a week at FTK suppliers.
- Willingness to travel abroad, up to 10%, as needed.
What you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 7-10 years’ experience in purchasing:
- Medical device/similar complexity product
- Proven experience in management of Full Turnkey (FTK) operations
- Purchasing of electronic components, electronic cards, electro-mechanical assemblies, mechanical parts, and cables
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Experience with FTK project management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English
- Advanced excel and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ERP experience is a must (Priority is an advantage)
