What You'll Bring:
Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience on Procurement.
- Experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Purchasing.
- Advanced English (essential).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Desirable:
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) from the Institute of Supply Management (ISM), Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Diploma (CIPS) certification, or other related procurement certification preferred.
- P2P software experience: Ariba, Oracle or related.
Impact You'll Make:
- Be a key advocate for the Global Procurement function engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, implementing and embedding global practices, policies and processes.
- Help to enhance business performance and mitigate risk through negotiating competitive & favorable commercial terms.
- Work with commercial contracts, procurement methodologies, purchase to pay, controls, and negotiations in Brazil.
- Interact with credibility at all levels of the organization and with suppliers both domestically and internationally as needed, working in cross-functional and multi-geographical teams (managing, negotiating vendor agreements, regional and global scope).
- Analyze and improve procurement and related processes.
- Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously by planning and prioritizing effectively.
- Identify financial impacts of decisions and performance for complex or newly identified categories managed.
- Perform business process analysis and develop models to improve cost.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define SLA's for suppliers and measure the appropriate criteria, such as: delivery of business results, cost reduction and avoidance, quality and timeliness of delivery. Conduct research, perform benchmarking, and gather market analysis for assigned categories.
- Assist in the authoring of contract documents, including service level exhibits, statements of work, and examples.
- Management of contracts ensuring performance of the supplier to contract obligations - Understand interrelationships between contracts and terms while applying creativity and sound business reasoning to interpret application of contract to business needs.
- Work within procure to pay software (ERP) tools and workflows.
- Create bonds and relationships with intern clients: develop close relationships with the most important intern clients and work in a positive way, involving the different areas to promote and settle down the strategies related with the purchases process with the goal of assure good practices on the P2P process.
- Make the market´s analysis to identify new opportunities that allow value generation and value delivery to the business and to Procurement process.
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
