Join Collibra’s Value Consulting team as a Senior Business Value Consultant

Make an impact at Collibra by fueling Collibra's growth in your assigned territory and being the guiding force behind bringing Collibra's value and vision to customers and prospects. As part of our dedicated Value Consulting team, you will work closely with some of Collibra’s largest customers and prospects, helping them identify business outcomes, shape strategic use cases, and quantify the tangible value that Collibra’s platform delivers. In this role, you will use your advisory expertise and data intelligence knowledge to drive customer confidence in data and AI initiatives, user adoption, and long-term strategic success.

Senior Business Value Consultants at Collibra are responsible for

  • Partnering with customer executives to understand their strategic imperatives, business challenges, and data management goals.
  • Translating these objectives into actionable use cases where Collibra’s platform can directly contribute to the business's success.
  • Conducting interactive workshops to uncover high-impact use cases, user scenarios, and required capabilities.
  • Developing detailed business cases and value roadmaps that highlight clear benefits for customers, including cost savings, revenue opportunities, and risk reduction.
  • Calculating ROI and other value metrics, providing board-level justifications for investments in Collibra’s solutions.
  • Helping shape and refine Collibra’s value frameworks, value calculators, and standardized content assets to be used across the field.
  • Providing customers with recommendations on driving adoption of the Collibra platform across users.
  • Identifying and helping remove barriers that prevent customers from realizing the full potential of their data and AI initiatives.
  • Collaborating closely with field sales, product marketing, and partner teams to support account strategies, identify revenue opportunities, and align on key messaging.
  • Providing feedback to internal teams on customer trends, emerging use cases, and areas of potential product enhancement.

You have

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in management consulting, strategy, or similar advisory roles.
  • Proven ability to engage with senior executives and business stakeholders, preferably within data-intensive industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare, retail).
  • Experience in data governance, data intelligence, or enterprise software.
  • Demonstrated skills in value consulting, value engineering, or pre-sales with a consultative engagement approach.
  • Experience identifying engagement needs, shaping and selling strategic services, and guiding customers through transformational initiatives.
  • Exceptional ability to distill complex scenarios into clear, compelling narratives suitable for executive and board-level audiences.
  • Strong research, analytical, and data modeling capabilities, with a proven track record of building ROI calculators and financial justifications.
  • Outstanding communication, facilitation, and workshop leadership skills.
  • Experience with methodologies like Design Thinking is a plus.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred. A strong academic foundation in business, economics, or data-related fields is a plus.

Measures of Success

  • Within your first three months, you will understand and be comfortable presenting Collibra’s Data Intelligence message to prospects and engaging with customers to identify value aligned to key mission initiatives.
  • Within your third month, you will be shaping and delivering business cases for customers, guiding them through value realization, and contributing to new pipeline opportunities while refining your strategic engagement plan.
  • Within your first six months, you will have established trusted relationships with key executives, delivered measurable ROI models for customers, and influenced strategic data initiatives within your assigned territory.

Compensation for This Role

The standard base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000 per year. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.

In addition to base salary, we offer equity ownership at every level, bonus potential, a Flex Fund monthly stipend, pension/401k plans, and more.
