What We Stand For and Where You’ll Come In

The Senior Business Systems Specialist role is responsible for overseeing the successful implementation and adoption of our software solutions, ensuring seamless integration and adoption across the organization. You will lead cross-functional functions, manage project timelines, and drive communication so projects are delivered on time, within scope and meeting the needs of our stakeholders.

One Team: We don’t think of ourselves as “Acquisition Marketers”, “Engineers”, “Data Analysts”, or “Product Managers”. We’re uninterested in how we compare to “benchmarks”; instead we orient ourselves around being the best we can possibly be. We Are Focused and Work Without Assumption: We are not beholden to ideas. We have goals and believe everything beyond that is a series of hypotheses to validate. To that end, we seek to work in sequence and not in parallel. We constantly ask ourselves, “what’s the most important hypothesis I should be working on right now? How do I confirm or reject that hypothesis as fast as possible?”. We rarely have timelines/deadlines and are constantly taking in new information and adjusting our priorities accordingly. How You'll Make An Impact

  • Architect and maintain advanced dashboards, saved searches, and custom reports in NetSuite and Looker to support real-time financial and inventory visibility across the organization.
  • Gather requirements and lead a group of cross-functional stakeholders to produce scalable technical solutions, including full system implementations. 
  • Serve as the NetSuite functional and technical SME, providing guidance on system architecture, data integrity, and best practices for financial systems.
  • Collaborate with TFD’s engineering function on custom solutions inside and adjacent to our financial systems. 
  • Analyze existing financial and operational systems to identify inefficiencies and drive the implementation of automated, scalable solutions.
  • Implement automation and workflow optimizations using SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, and custom integrations.
  • Collaborate and provide recommendations to the roadmap of financial tooling across TFD with respect to system stability, scalability, and anticipating the needs of the future. 
  • Manage financial system configurations, role permissions, and upgrade cycles; coordinate testing, deployment, and post-go-live support with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and training materials to ensure scalable adoption of integrated financial tools.
  • Lead enablement sessions and provide hands-on training to finance, operations, and business users on new features, customizations, and process enhancements.

We're Excited About You Because

  • You have 5+ years experience operating in and maintaining financial tools and deep experience integrating NetSuite with third-party tools and managing complex data pipelines into and out of an ERP.
  • You have advanced familiarity with multiple of the following tools: ERP systems, payment processors, transportation management systems, procure to pay platforms, IPAAS, tax software, demand planning tools.
  • You have deep expertise working with NetSuite custom record types, workflows, custom fields, forms, roles and permissions, Saved Searches, and reports, including complex scripting and customizations.
  • You are highly proficient in Google Sheets and Excel, particularly as it relates to transitioning data into NetSuite reports and performing advanced data analysis.
  • You are able to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, naturally curious and proactive self-starter, constantly on the lookout for new opportunities and solutions.
  • You are motivated by leading complex, high-impact projects with large, cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.
  • You have experience working with systems that handle sensitive data and with SOX ITGC controls and change management processes.
  • You have exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to work and communicate effectively to technical and non-technical audiences, absorbing and distilling complexity into simple terms to drive decision making
  • You are an owner, have expert-level problem-solving skills, and can prioritize tasks effectively, with a strong attention to detail and a focus on efficiency.

We commit to building a competitive compensation package and company environment for all individuals to thrive. We believe in competitive base compensation rooted in location specific market data and performance along with equity ownership in the company that allows every team member to build their personal wealth as the company grows, just as much as we believe in fostering a culture that supports our team members personally, professionally, and holistically. For this role the anticipated hiring base compensation range is $145,000.00 - $165,000.00 USD Annual and the compensation offered will include a robust market competitive package of base and equity. In addition to your base compensation offer you will also receive equity ownership in the company. More information about the value of this equity will be shared at the time of offer. This range is representative of NYC Market Data if you are applying to this role outside of the NYC area the range may change.
