About the Role:

The Senior Business Solution Analyst II will work closely with the Business Architecture Solution Design team, Process Owners, and Business Stakeholders (Underwriting, Product, Claims and Operations) to fully understand the insurance business processes and identify system needs. This role will also closely collaborate with Everest technology colleagues to understand the system capabilities required to meet the defined business need, lead efforts to define scope, support the IT sizing effort and write business system requirements to meet delivery timelines. The Business Solution Analyst III will follow Business Architecture processes and artifact standards. This position is based in our Warren, NJ office on a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office/2 days remote).

Knowledge and Skills:

  • 6+ years experience in business analysis for technology solutions

  • Experience in Agile methodology processes, practices, and artifacts.

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong critical thinking skills as well as the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.

  • Acts as a liaison between the business and technical organization in planning, directing, and analyzing complex business problems.

  • Manages and prepares system backlog for prioritization

  • Leads sessions to elicit requirements and creates detailed business requirement documents and obtains stakeholder signoff.

  • Creates functional framework in Jira for projects; manages requirement delivery following agile best practices.

  • Excellent ability to perform and document analysis of complex business, workflow, and technology processes to support development

  • Support UAT Ops test planning activities

  • Ability to understand and document system integrations within the insurance ecosystem
