U.S. LubricantsPOSITION SUMMARYWork alongside the sales & marketing teams to execute targeted strategies that build brand awareness and drive leads to our U.S. Lubricants Sales team. This individual will contact, sell, and service assigned accounts and prospective customers to drive a consistent flow of quality leads resulting in increased profitable sales to assigned customers in a larger territory and/or more complex customer segment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meet defined goals for new business revenue by sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
- Proactively develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information.
- Provides information on products, availability, pricing, applications, and delivery in a prompt and accurate manner
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce, including account & contact details, activities/tasks, and opportunities.
- Based on defined ‘rules of engagement’, individual may close sales opportunities or may route opportunities to the appropriate field sales executives for further development and closure.
- Deliver outstanding customer experience.
- Use a consultative sales process. Provide solutions to business problems. Build relationships.
- Product Expertise & Business Continuity
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of company products and offerings.
- Understand customer needs and requirement and deliver insights to marketing.
- Attend and actively participate ongoing in Lubrication training.
- Actively participate in defined industry associations to elevate USL’s presence
- Back-up Customer Relationship team as needed to support business continuity and support U.S. Lubricants customers and sales team.
- Train and develop new team members to upskill their knowledge of the industry and US Lubricants sales methodologies.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Associate degree in marketing or related discipline, or 7+ years related business experience
• Attention to detail and deadlines
• Above average written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to project a positive image to customers
• Demonstrated ability to build positive business relationships
• Inside sales and/or customer service experience with demonstrated success.
• Demonstrated ability to acquire new business
• Good listener and strong communicator
• Able to lead thru influence vs. formal authority.
• Self motivated and action oriented, entrepreneurial, desire and drive to achieve goals.
• Able to deal with a variety of people and situations in a positive and open-minded manner
• Well organized and represent the company in a professional manner
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) and ability to learn other programs.
