The RoleCCC's Solutions & Consulting (“S&C”) team provides consulting services to our clients, including process optimization, solution implementation and configuration, and data and performance analysis. Additionally, S&C contributes to the sales process through serving as product experts, providing product overviews and demos to showcase key benefits, and developing business cases to justify investment in CCC's products (ROI formulation)
We are looking for a Senior Business Consultant to join our Subrogation Solutions and Consulting Team.
Subrogation Solutions and Consulting – This individual will contribute to the transformation of subrogation programs for enterprise customers in the insurance industry. This individual will help the organization re-engineer workflow to be best-in-class through AI-enabled capabilities and change management. In addition, this individual will quantify user adoption trends and risk mitigation strategies, particularly focused on Inbound and Outbound Subrogation solutions. In this role an individual will be exposed to innovative technologies and cross-functional teams across Product Management, Product Development, Product Sales, Account Management and Marketing.


 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a recognized APD and subrogation product and industry expert and client-facing advocate to support sales and expedite opportunities while utilizing their industry subject matter expertise.
  • Deep expertise in evaluation of subrogation claims at an insurer as an adjuster or manager; with a good end to end understanding of the auto claims workflow.
  • Relevant experience at Subrogation solutions vendors/third-party administrators (TPAs) is preferred
  • Prior experience with filing arbitration applications, responding to arbitration applications, and/or serving as an arbitrator is a plus
  • Advanced at creating value propositions, business cases, ROIs, and product sales collateral using strong understanding of auto subrogation claims and optimization of workflow through use of AI-enabled solutions or third-party administrators (TPAs).
  • Expertise in business analysis, project management, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) is preferred with business requirements gathering experience.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Product Management, Strategy, Product Sales, and Marketing) to drive customer and product needs.
  • Effectively lead Inbound and Outbound Subrogation process reviews and compile detailed business requirements that can be utilized by product and implementation teams to successfully deploy insurance carriers on CCC’s Subrogation platform (excellent documentation and flowcharts skills are required using tools such as Visio and Miro).
  • Individual should be able to identify and mitigate risks and opportunities in partnership with Subrogation Solutions & Consulting leadership.
  • Good verbal communication skills with business partners, executives, developers, and other cross-functional team members.
  • Adept at working in a high-growth, fast paced environment while contributing to team excellence through a deep understanding of Subrogation solutions and the industry.
  • This individual must be able to pivot and adjust as the needs of a growing product portfolio evolve. Agile mindset and approach with a willingness to get into the details of subrogation workflow and data is key.
  • Prior Subrogation experience is required and prior Change Management experience is preferred. Ability to understand the impact of change from new Subrogation solutions on a potential client and be able to tailor a change plan to ensure success for end users is key. This will require working with our implementation and product partners along with the prospective client.


 

Requirements:

  • An undergraduate degree is required; MBA is preferred.
  • 8-10+ years experience working in the auto claims industry with time spent in subrogation or comparable experience at a vendor that focused on providing solutions across the auto subrogation claims lifecycle.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including advanced aptitude in Excel and PowerPoint to succinctly summarize data, create compelling visuals, and present in front of internal and external stakeholders. Tableau skills are preferred. Individuals should be deeply analytical and inquisitive, with a willingness to put an investigative hat on.
  • Business process design and complex business modeling experience, including ease and comfort leveraging data to draw and support conclusions from analysis.
  • Collaborate and help influence internally across functional and technology service groups.
  • Ability to build stories to bring to life our Subrogation solutions and highlight the value and benefits along with opportunity areas.
  • Insurance Subrogation credentials and certifications preferred and/or Insurance industry certifications.
