Responsibilities:

  • The purpose of the role is to prepare pricing for opportunities based on customer requirements to ensure competitiveness, consistency and maximize profitability.
  • Work closely with the Pricing Group Leader and Manager to prioritize the requests, to meet the schedules and internal/external customer expectations.
  • Identify major cost drivers and financial considerations.
  • Participate to cost and price reviews with business unit team.
  • Prepare a Basis of Price for the review through analysis of historical, competitive, strategic and knowledge of customer budgets. Price Presentation to senior Management for discussion & approval.
  • Support Sales during negotiations with customer.
  • Build and maintain pricing database, perform regular and ad-hoc pricing analysis and reporting for management.
  • Gather and analyze pricing data and trends. Adapt pricing model and strategy based on business intelligence. Make recommendations on innovative solutions to improve performance and meet financial goals.
  • Participate to the training of the other team members on how to perform data analytics.
  • Collaborate with other members of product management, proposal, sales, business development, finance and IT in the pursuit of common vision and goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, engineering, or another related field.
  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in analysis of costs or pricing preferably in a finance operations or technical program management environment.
  • Proven experience in data analytics and visualization
  • Understanding of Data and BI architectures.
  • Have a passion for technology to advance automation.
  • Knowledge of database structures, an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint and Word), notably an in-depth knowledge of Excel.
  • Knowledge of Planisware, an asset.
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Technical knowledge of the aviation industry, an asset
  • Effective time management, autonomous, responsible, manage multiple task.
  • Communicate effectively with peers & colleagues, teamwork oriented.
  • Ability to support management and regional stakeholders, adhere to aggressive timelines.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self starter, highly motivated.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingualism in both French and English is required.
