Senior Business Analyst I
About the team:
The Senior Business Analyst I is a senior-level position that will work with one or more business units, supporting moderately complex projects aimed at delivering IT solutions and services that meet company cost, quality and strategic targets
About the role:
The role will predominately focus on gathering and analyzing work group data, defining current processes and requirements, researching best practices and identifying and documenting process improvements and functional specifications.
Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements for automation projects.
Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement and automation.

2. Process Mapping and Documentation:
Create detailed process maps, flowcharts, and diagrams to represent current (AS-IS) and future (TO-BE) state processes.
Document future business processes in the agreed format using BusinessOptix (enterprise process mapping tool).
Document functional and non-functional requirements for automation solutions, ensuring clarity and completeness.
Maintain and update process documentation as needed throughout the project lifecycle.

3. Solution Design and Implementation:
Work closely with the technical team to ensure that the solutions meet business requirements and objectives.
Participate in creation of test cases to ensure coverage of key business processes.

4. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
Serve as a liaison between business partners and the technology team(s), to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to gather input, share progress, and obtain buy-in from stakeholders.
Oversee the formal sign-off of requirements from business owners and users prior to the start of development.
Collaborate with Process Excellence community to maintain continuous engagement
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Requirements:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and critically.

Proficient in process mapping, documentation, and analysis tools.

Strong focus on data-driven analysis to improve decision making

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Ability to work independently and take the lead on initiatives with minimal supervision

Experience with agile development methodologies and tools.

Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for effective presentations and reporting

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst

Proven experience in business process management (BPM) and/or process automation in the context of transformation projects
