Senior Billing Analyst
Job Description Summary
The Sr. Billing Analyst is responsible for the accurate setup/maintenance of contracts, billing rules, transactions, or transaction adjustments within the financial system. They are responsible to properly accounting for billings, billing transactions, billing transaction adjustments, revenue recognitions or revenue offsets/adjustments that are more complex in natures.

About the role:
- Review, analyze and properly treat requests for billing adjustments, transactions/transaction adjustments and inquires submitted via ticketing system and BAU processes. Items handled by the Sr Analyst are more complex in nature requiring advance knowledge to solve. Proper system knowledge, interconnectivity across HR, Business Operations and Finance and proper accounting treatment knowledge is critical to properly solution.
- Setup/maintenance of projects, contracts, and billing rules within the financial system in accordance with SOX controls.
- Revenue analysis to ensure proper recognition. Working closing with FP&A and Business Operations to provide detailed support.
- Interface with City Leaders and Finance Managers related to escalated issues.
- Support and analyze audit requests.
About You:
- 3 to 5 years of related experience
- CPA license is a plus
- Workday finance, Oracle, and Salesforce knowledge is a plus
- Great communication skills
