99 Group is looking for a Backend Engineer to join our diverse team of people who are passionate about taking the real estate industry properly into the age of technology through innovation and a desire to solve its multitude of challenges.
Analytical and results-driven, you will work with team members to troubleshoot and improve current back-end applications and processes. The Backend Engineer will use his or her understanding of programming languages and tools to analyse current codes and industry developments, formulate more efficient processes, solve problems, and create a more seamless experience for users.
What you'll do:
- Develop awesome features to support business and improve overall team output
- Coding, testing, and debugging software with high quality output
- Collaborate with Product, Business, QA, other tech team, and other stakeholders to make it happens
- Peer reviewers for internal team
- Planning and design team deliverables in quarterly basis
- Manage production monitoring report and do necessary feedback actions
- Owning a team or Mastering technical scopes
- Managing future plan within a team or technical scopes
- Prepare timeline and proposals to be reviewed by Engineering managers and CTO
- Become a leader of the team/projects
What you should have :
- Bachelor degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or other related discipline
- Good in coding, testing, debugging, and maintain high performance scalable softwares
- Mainly in Python. Side projects available in Go and Java
- Excellent understanding of microservices architecture, system design, relational databases, and search engines.
- Well known with coding best practices in backend project development
- Detailed oriented, able to manage technical risks, and confident working in English
- Able to communicate with other members of the team (business, product, and CTO)
- Great team player for internal team
