Senior Backend Engineer, Innovation Team

We are looking for an ambitious and skilled Senior Backend Engineer, C# to join our Innovation team in Amsterdam to help design and build DataSnipper software that is used by more than 500,000 users, in more than 125 countries. We're on a global mission to transform the financial world, and we need your help to do so!

As a Software Engineer, your efforts will drive customer satisfaction and happiness and will be heavily focused on developing new and technically challenging features. As a part of our Innovation team working on AI feature, you will work on building new functionality within our backend platform

The recent acquisition of AI-native UpLink, a cloud-based secure document request portal, and the launch of DocuMine, a new AI-powered document validator, dramatically expand DataSnipper’s goal to build a comprehensive AI-powered audit ecosystem with global impact.

What you will do:

• Design and build the backend of our AI application all the way to our ML platform

• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards

• Work closely with the team of ML Engineers

• Debug and troubleshoot issues

• Deploy your own solutions as part of SRE responsibilities.

What You Bring

• Minimum of 7 years of experience building applications using a modern backend stack

• Experience with C# or Python

• Experience with other programming languages is beneficial

• Experience with Azure/AWS and Docker is required

• Experience with relational and document-based databases

• Strong experience building, deploying, and maintaining APIs

• Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture and DDD principles

• Passionate about high-quality coding standards and testing of code

• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work effectively in an ever-changing scale-up environment
