The new hire will join our BnBerry for Landlords team, building a new solution tailored for Individual Hosts and Landlords who want to put their vacation rental business on autopilot and drive more bookings effortlessly.
In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Laravel, PHP, MySQL, and related technologies
- Partner with cross-functional teams to create scalable, efficient backend solutions
- Take part in the full software development lifecycle—from planning through deployment
- Enhance backend systems for optimal performance, scalability, and reliability
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure smooth integration between systems
- Spot and resolve technical debt and performance issues
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation
- 5+ years of backend development experience, specializing in PHP and Laravel
- Solid knowledge of MySQL databases and query optimization
- Hands-on experience with RESTful API
- Proficient with Git version control
- Sharp problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail
- Self-motivated team player who thrives in remote environments
- Outstanding communication skills
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Fluent in English; knowledge of other European languages is a plus
