About the Job
We’re looking for an experienced Backend Developer -PHP (m/f/d) to join one of our partner companies and develop their backend IT strategies.
In your day-to-day work, you’ll focus on the new and further development of the platform while having the opportunity to contribute to various projects.

In this role, you’ll:
- Develop and enhance our partner company’s new platform (Symfony, API Platform, MySQL, Kubernetes/Rancher)
- Collaborate with the team to conceptualise new backend components
- Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and contribute to their ongoing development
- Maintain and improve the existing backend tech stack (Symfony, Zend)
- Engage in continuous personal development through training, research, and team collaboration
Your Profile
- Strong knowledge of PHP 8 and frameworks—ideally Symfony and/or API Platform
- Proficient in server-side debugging
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Understanding of unit testing and a commitment to maintainable, readable code
- Comfortable working with Linux
- Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, is a plus
- Independent work style and openness to new technologies
- Friendly and motivated team player
- Excellent communication skills in German. English is a plus
Please note that we are looking for support in Germany for our partner company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
