Job Summary 

As a Cloud Solutions Architect Azure (13986), the Cloud Technical Solutions Architect plays a hands-on role in designing and implementing cloud solutions, with a strong focus on the Azure platform. This position is essential for developing, testing, and maintaining Azure Landing Zones. Reporting to the Cloud Architect Lead, the architect will primarily focus on technical execution.

Responsibilities and Duties 

• Design and Implementation: Execute Azure cloud strategy, including developing, implementing, and overseeing Azure-based solutions. Responsible for Azure infrastructure projects, deploying cloud environments for hosting business application services.
• Collaboration: Work closely with application, network, and security teams to reflect requirements in the Azure design.
• Solution Development: Develop Proof of Concept (PoC) as required, providing expertise and leadership regarding solutions for infrastructure and applications in Azure.
• Innovation: Demonstrate thought leadership in cloud computing and develop technical roadmaps for future Azure cloud implementations. Ensure security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions.
• Technical Roadmaps: Develops technical roadmaps for future Azure cloud implementations and ensures security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions.
• Project Management: Assist in project planning, aligning technical solutions with business objectives, and mitigating deviations to project plans.

Qualifications and Skills 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.  
• Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications.  
• Professional/ Advanced English skills. 
• +5 years of experience. 
• Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification
• Azure Services: Proficiency in a wide range of Azure services for large-scale, highly-critical applications, including App Service, AKS, Azure SQL, CosmosDB, Functions, Logic Apps, etc.
• Cloud Architecture: Deep knowledge of cloud architecture styles, design patterns, and cloud migration strategies, employing Cloud Adoption Framework, Well-Architected Framework, Azure Landing Zones, among others.
• Governance and Best Practices: Knowledge of Azure governance principles, including role-based access control, landing zones, cost management controls.
• IaC Methodologies: Expertise in Infrastructure as Code methodologies, with hands-on experience in tools such as Terraform, Azure Resource Manager templates, and Bicep.
