Senior Specialist - Packaged Implementation - IN
This is a critical position in the TIAA Workday ecosystem. This role will be responsible for the implementation, management, support, and maintenance of TIAA HR systems and processes as well as designing, building, implementing, and maintaining the overall Workday suite. The successful candidate will be a hands-on subject matter expert with deep configuration knowledge in at least one if not multiple Workday modules. This position requires a driven individual, a true self-starter with demonstrated experience in high growth, fast-paced organizations. This role will assist our team in developing the best possible long-term solutions by sharing your in-depth knowledge and experiences. We are searching for candidates with experience in Workday Payroll, Compensation, Time Tracking, Absence and Benefits.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
What you’ll do:

Collaborate, configure, optimize and maintain an existing Workday module processes to meet organizational needs. Will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) across the Workday functional area(s) assigned.

Provide recommendations for process improvements and system optimizations.

Thoroughly test configurations through unit testing and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) across teams.

Lead Workday enhancements, bug fixes, and upgrade projects, including, scoping, testing, and deployment.

Translate business needs into technical requirements and configure solutions that align with organizational objectives.

Ability to document processes and construct useful demonstrations and knowledge transfers for business users.

Troubleshoot and resolve production support configuration issues.

Support assigned Workday module(s) including managing Workday Semi-Annual Releases

This individual will support our People Team and internal business partners.

Strong collaboration, both within the People Operations team, primary business stakeholders, and across the organization.

This is a key role in the development, on-going maintenance, and operational and technical support of all aspects of the Workday system.
Required Experience:

Industry Experience: It may be good to have someone with HR at a Financial Services company but not required;

Certifications: Workday configuration experience with a Workday Partner or PRO certification from industry (HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence)

Workday implementation experience of at least one implementation

Minimum 3 years workday configuration experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, Workday Help, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Someone who can rely on their previous experiences to plan and accomplish future goals.

Ability to lead large cross-functional projects and interact with team members at all levels.
