KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to and resolve user-reported issues and requests related to application functionality
- Monitor application performance and proactively identify and address potential problems
- Build metrics with monitoring tools such as AppDynamics / Dynatrace/ Elastic / Kibana / Grafana and Prometheus.
- Implement and maintain cloud monitoring solutions, interpreting metrics to ensure service quality
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot complex issues and implement solutions
- Collaborate with cloud service providers to resolve platform-specific issues and implement best practices
- Maintain and update application documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting procedures
- Participate in the deployment and post implementation testing of software updates and new applications
- Provide training and support to end-users on various applications
- Manage and resolve incidents related to cloud infrastructure and applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve moderate to complex issues in cloud-based applications
- Assist in cloud resource optimization and cost management
- Participate in cloud migration projects and post-migration support
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes and procedures
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of common business applications and databases
Years of Experience
- - 2+ years of experience in application support or a similar IT role
- - 1-3 years of experience supporting cloud-based applications
Other requirements
- Relevant Information Technology Diploma/Degree
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA)
- Associate-level cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate)
- Experience with specific business applications used in our organization
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
- Knowledge of serverless computing concepts and technologies

Bachelor's Degree: Computer and Information Science (Required)
