The Senior Application Specialist for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for implements and provides technical application, training and marketing support pre-sales and post-sales work, to direct operations in Singapore, possibly in the Automation, Hematology, Immunoassay and Clinical Chemistry product line. To be the regional point-persona to facilitate the dissemination of technical application information
This position is part of the Customer Support Team located in Singapore and will be working as remote work mode. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be a part of the Service Team and report to the Customer Support Manager, SEA responsible to addresses customer’s concern with urgency and respect to ensure delivery of high-quality service. Provide primary Field Application support in Singapore and technically support to fellow distributor service engineers and inter-departmental parties. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Attain sufficient knowledge in Automation, Hematology, Immunoassay and Clinical Chemistry product-line so as to be able to work independently in conducting customers operation training and sales product training
- Be the liaison or key-contact between regional support staff in Hematology, Chemistry, Immunology and Automation related issues; to facilitate bi-directional communication and the dissemination of tech application info to the local team and customers and dealers in the region
- Plan coordinate and monitor the execution of certain technical implementation, e.g. reagent reformulation updates, software upgrades, product corrections, etc.
- Collect, analyze and share with internal staff, competition info and market dynamics
- Support and coordinate new product launch activities, seminars, exhibitions and promotions or marketing as needed
- Implement and assist in any related added responsibilities assigned by direct supervisor.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Education – Degree or equivalent in Med Tech or Science related subject
- Experience – Previous multiple years of experience in a clinical laboratory or related commercial field in the same capacity in an international organization
- Requirement Skills - Ability to monitor, analyze and evaluate product performance, oversee technical planning, customer training and implementing for Hematology, Chemistry, Immunology and Automation products. Ensure product knowledge and skills continually updates to carry out apps and technical support work. Possess strong language proficiency in English
- Preferred Skills - Demonstrate top tier communication skills; strong interpersonal and customer handling skills and provide guidance or coaching within the team, customers and across functional groups
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
- Ability to travel within SEA –5% travel to support operator, application training and application related task within SEA
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Experience in total Lab Automation projects implementation
