Job Description

As Product Definer for the High Density Power team, you will be a key player driving innovation, defining next-generation product roadmaps, delivering best in class solutions addressing power efficiency and density challenges and writing product specifications (PRDs) in the AI Smart Power Stage server space and related applications. You will engage cross functionally with a diverse team including IC design, Applications, Marketing, and other engineering teams to turn good ideas into reality.

Key Responsibilities

This role combines deep knowledge of system level challenges from a customer perspective with knowledge of multiphase power, VR system technologies, IC design techniques, power architectures, trade-offs between competing priorities and others to arrive at optimal definitions for new products. You will use your understanding of system level considerations from the high-performance server customer to steer architecture and product roadmaps. Once validated and approved for execution, you will also have responsibility for capturing the ideas into a PRD that will be used as the guideline for the execution team. You will identify critical avenues of long-term value creation to support building a durable long-term business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Interface with customer systems engineers to understand big-scope perspective on challenges and value drivers.

  • Directly support top tier customer engagements to gain consensus on proposals and help drive them to revenue.
  • Maintain key customer relationships to enable early market visibility.
  • Be up-to speed on new innovations across the industry.

  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant semiconductor and systems experience.
  • MS degree in engineering (EE – power electronics desired).
  • This role requires deep technical strength in high performance power management related to AI processors/accelerators.
  • Broad technical capability/exposure will be combined with excellent technical communication skills.
