Our primary business purpose is to help clients and supporters increase the effectiveness of activities pertaining to scientific communication, medical education and the maintenance of clinician audience intimacy.

Position Summary 

• Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using Yarn and React.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize new and existing web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure applications remain cutting-edge.
• Participate in company hackathons and demonstrate leadership when preparing POCs to modernize web applications.

Key Responsibilities 

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Write unit and functional tests as a testament of quality work.
• Mentor and guide other developers, providing technical leadership and helpful feedback during code reviews.
• Communicate progress on work assignments in daily scrums.
• Lead troubleshooting sessions to solve technical issues.

Key Skills, Knowledge & Professional Education

Technical Skills

• 4+ years of professional experience in frontend development with React.
• Experience with Material UI or a similar component library.
• Knowledge of bootstrapping applications with Create React App.
• Understanding of Redux, Sagas, and Hooks.
• Experience with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Babel, and Vite.
• Comfortable using Git and maintaining projects in GitHub, Bitbucket, or similar.
• Strong in JavaScript fundamentals and libraries.
• Expertise in connecting with and utilizing REST APIs with different authorization mechanisms.
• Knowledgeable in website optimizations, including CDN usage, caching strategies, and efficient media handling.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Experience with GenAI tools and services such as OpenAI, GPT-3/4, AWS Bedrock models, Google Gemini, Mistral, and other LLMs (desirable).

Nice to Have Qualifications

• Figma or Sketch experience.
• Understanding of NPM modules and private registry usage.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows.
• Knowledge of Lerna for JS project management.
• Experience working with component libraries and/or monorepos.
