Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiatives in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Senior Application Developer to work for our company.
Summary:
- Must have an ACTIVE U.S. Government TOP SECRET clearance or above, sponsorship will not be provided.
- Will develop and implement solution based on PWS requirements to meet the needed PoC objectives. Will complete all work with the consideration of best practices for application design, development, test, and deployment framework(s) as required within the DoD. Will collaborate with the government SMEs (i.e. COBOL programmers) to meet the requirement of executing the automated code translation and code optimization. Will execute the work using the tools and techniques implemented for the project. Will work directly with Software Architect, Solutions Architect, and Systems Engineer to ensure the PWS tasks are appropriated executed and accomplished.
- Must be willing and able to travel to Columbus, OH, once a month for a week at time to support collaboration with Government SMEs.
Requirements:
- Must have an ACTIVE U.S. Government TOP SECRET clearance or above, sponsorship will not be provided.
- Must have one of the following certifications: CCNA Security, CySA, GICSP, GSEC, CompTIA Security+ CE, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH.
- Must have 10+ years developing applications for large complex IT systems
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, IT or a closely related field.
- Must have previous experience working legacy modernization projects for the federal government (DoD preferred) or modernization with legacy mainframe-based systems in the commercial banking/finance sector.
- Must have previous experience working with hierarchical database structures as well as relational database structures.
- Must have previous experience as a full stack developer.
- Must have hands-on experience implementing software solutions leveraging agile SW methodology.
- Must have hands-on experience with ML/AL processes and implementing solutions based on AI/ML.
- Must have hands-on experience with Java, HTML, .NET, AngularJS, JavaScript, SOAP, REST Application Programming Interfaces (API), mobile development, and Web Based API in the design, development, test, and deployment of software applications.
- Must be willing and able to travel to Columbus, OH, once a month for a week at time to support collaboration with Government SMEs.
