This position is a full time, night shift role (8AM – 5PM EST).
Responsibilities / Tasks
• Review and approval of vendor set-up, includes verification of financial information update with the vendor (e.g. bank details update) including vendor confirmation in the ERP
• Review and verification of vendor payments following scheduled payment run and prepare weekly payment forecast
• Preparing and analyze AP Debit balances for month-end accrual proposal
• Coordinate with other departments (such as Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance) to resolve invoice/credit memo discrepancies including those endorsed by the BPO Provider
• Liaise between GEA’s outsourced Shared Services teams and internal and external business partners, such as suppliers, on escalations and urgent matters,
• Performs review and analysis accounts payable performance output from KPIs as an output of GEA internal matrices and BPO Provider performance
• Generates reports for decision-makers, internal control, and reporting whenever is required
• Update and cascade of approval matrices
• Assist with 1099, audit and compliance requirement including report preparation
• Executes regular checks verifying application of group and country compliance policies
• Recommends process improvements to Accounts Payable Manager
• Participates to company and group projects together with colleagues from different company functions
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Your Profile / Qualifications
• Degree in Accounting/Business Administration (preferred)
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a business environment, preferably in an Accounting (Accounts Payable), Finance, or Audit capacity, demonstrating an ability to learn on the job, work independently, prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Experience with ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Prior experience on a Shared Service or BPO environment
• Ability to work with diverse teams and interact with different areas
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) and fluent in English
• Resilient in a fast-paced, changing environment
