Job Description
The Mid-Senior Analyst will be part of the Portfolio Analytics team that is responsible for any insights on our analytics scores and variables. This includes industry benchmark reports, bureau scores and variable monitoring, bureau and bespoke client variable development, optimization of internal data flow processes including data quality processes, and maintenance of the cloud servers used. The Mid-Senior Analyst is expected to assist with all the tasks, dependent on priority projects for the team, and should be able to work efficiently as part of the team, but also independently. What you will be required to do:
• Execute and lead (in some instances) new data analytics projects.
• Review existing data processes in the analytics environment, identify opportunities to optimize processes and ensure that sufficient quality control measures are in place.
• Assist in aligning the team’s objectives and focus with Experian’s data strategy.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of own work and the work of any analysts on specific projects
• Carry out and lead others in confirming the integrity, extraction, formulation and manipulation of source data to develop new bureau and bespoke client variables.
• Analyze results from benchmark reports and monitoring packs to identify and interpret trends.
• Assist in upskilling more junior team members to enhance their skillsets both from a technical perspective and data interpretation and manipulation perspective.
• Ensure process and product documentation is up to date and interpretable both by internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in sales enablement when new analytics products are launched.
• Attend client meetings when required to support pre-sales and post-sales discussions pertaining to analytics data products.
• Stay abreast of legislation and regulation as they relate to Experian’s analytical solutions.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent standard, with high mathematical content e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Mathematics and Informatics, Engineering, Actuarial Science or Data Science.
- Excellent SAS & Python Coding Skills
- 8yrs+ experience in Data Analytics
- Experience in: Credit Market Industry, Credit Risk Modelling, Commercial Industry, Data Monitoring, Pyspark Knowledge and Good presentation skills
