Duties and Responsibilities
- To support the Manager to ensure UW related teams comply with goals, objectives and standards of IGI
- To assist in premium reconciliation (weekly and Monthly data checks) process including ongoing review and reporting to senior management
- To monitor and follow up on all scheduled reports in order to ensure UW departments adhere to necessary deadlines
- Assist in developing underwriting reports and communicate with IT Department to prepare and distribute reports
- To ensure accurate UAT of all implemented business customization and rules within Admin system
- Support in statistical analysis of monthly/Quarterly underwriting reports in co-ordination with Underwriting Management
- To liaise with all internal departments including Underwriting Operations, Exposure Management, Claims, Finance, whilst ensuring smooth operation at all times
- Support in day-to-day operations i.e. approving system contacts and liaising with KYC and Compliance teams , ad hoc report requests
- Monitor and follow up on all UW breaches on weekly basis.
- To carry out any additional duties set by respective line manager or senior management as and when required
Job Specifications
Academic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree – Preference in Business Administration, Insurance and Risk Management, Actuarial Science.
Experience Required: 2-3 years (re)insurance experience preferred
Languages: Fluent in English, both written and oral
Key Competencies: Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft office
