We are actively seeking an experienced Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) professional to join our dynamic Cyber team in Brisbane.
Our Cyber & Technology team are experiencing significant and exciting growth. We are trusted by our clients and are regularly called upon to support them with complex cybersecurity, data privacy, cyber incident, and forensic technology matters. We are a hands-on team, working closely with our clients to help them plan and execute practical approaches to complex issues. Due to the nature of our work, we are also level-headed, particularly in times of crisis, and help our clients resolve often high-pressure situations.
You will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of Cyber Strategy & Risk engagements, as well as being an active member of the team and supporting where possible on other matters such as cyber incidents, data privacy and investigative matters.

What will you do
- Quantifying gaps in cyber resilience, maturity, or capability.
- Designing or executing strategies and programs to address known gaps or build governance capabilities.
- Measuring and assessing compliance against standards such as ISO27001, NIST, CPS 234 or the ACSC Essential 8.
- Establishing cyber and privacy risk management and compliance programs, including of third parties when required.
- Preparing detailed written reports, presentations, dashboards, visualisations or even presenting your work as part of client briefings in person.
- Manage engagement risks and maintain high quality on all projects.
- Maintain confidentiality of our clients, their information, and data.
- Continuously strengthening our client relations through excellent client service.
Who you are
- Hold a Bachelor degree in a STEM field or demonstrated technical experience is highly desirable.
- Sound knowledge and a passion for the technical aspects of cyber / information security / information governance & privacy.
- Experience performing relevant Cyber Risk & Strategy projects, such as the establishment of safety and awareness programs, conducting security risk assessment, cybersecurity incident / data breach response desktop scenario tests etc.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ambition, drive, and determination.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fantastic teamwork skills, a strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure.
