The Senior Analyst, Investor Relations & Investments will support the Director, Investor Relations in producing quarterly and ad hoc financial disclosure materials for both external and internal stakeholders, as well as assist in managing relationships with current and prospective equity and debt investors, and the sell-side research community.
A Day in the Life

Support and, in some cases, lead the development of quarterly financial disclosure materials for external stakeholders by working closely with FP&A, Financial Reporting (Accounting), Treasury, and Executive and senior business leaders.

Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders – and develop a detailed understanding of Element’s business, wing to wing – in order to support the fulfillment and/or management of investment community requests for information, as well as the development of quarterly financial disclosure materials.

Coordinate investor meetings (non-deal roadshow and otherwise) and conferences by working closely with internal and external stakeholders, including on any related materials and logistics. Support the strategic evaluation of these opportunities ahead of time through research and record-keeping.

Manage all investor relations record keeping needs, which include investor meeting notes and correspondence, external and internal disclosure-related documents. Support shareholder targeting efforts, including identifying and analyzing prospective shareholders.

Support and/or lead ad hoc projects for Executive and senior business leaders, such as preparing or supporting the preparation of Board materials, competitive analysis, peer benchmarking, prepare quarterly fact sheets, capital market analysis, debt capital markets and rating agency materials, client materials and other strategic projects. Stay up to date on industry best practices in investor relations.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, accounting, finance, economics or related field of study.

1 - 3+ years of work experience in business or related field.

Previous work experience in accounting, FP&A, equity research, investment banking, management consulting, asset management or similar would be preferred

Financial literacy / numeracy, or demonstrable intellectual curiosity to rapidly acquire same

Excellent written and oral communication skills

High proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint is a must
The hiring base salary range for this position is $70,800 to $97,350 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
