We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Analyst, Finance & Treasury to join our Finance & Treasury team based out of our Head Office in downtown Toronto. In this role, you will report to the Manager, Operational Banking and will be responsible for executing day-to-day banking operations globally. In this role, you will conduct bank account openings and closings, establish and maintain banking relationships and carry out signatory updates for all bank accounts. The Senior Analyst will work collaboratively across several lines of business with Oxford, ensuring that appropriate policy support is provided and that decisions are implemented effectively.  You will be a key member of an engaged, high-reaching team—part of a world-class, winning culture that prioritizes people development and focuses on long-term growth. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:

  • Opening, closing, and maintaining bank accounts globally;
  • Preparing and reviewing Know Your Client (“KYC”) documentation;
  • Collaborating and leading conversations with Corporate Legal to prepare and update banking resolutions and general banking agreements;
  • Overseeing the yearly audit confirmation process and FBAR reporting;
  • Analyzing the bank fee structure and identifying and implementing cost savings where applicable;
  • Maintenance of the process / procedure documentation for the Kyriba Bank Account Management (“BAM”) module and various banking processes;
  • Conducting general Kyriba BAM system maintenance, including onboarding, data mapping and other ad-hoc requests;
  • Driving various projects and process improvement initiatives, with a focus on improving efficiencies, automation and the identification, and mitigation of, control deficiencies;
  • Fostering and maintaining strong relationships with key bank contacts;
  • Resolving day-to-day banking inquiries; and
  • Ensuring familiarity, and adherence to all Oxford and Treasury policies, processes, and controls at all times and acting as a backup to fellow Treasury colleagues when necessary.

To succeed in this role, you: 

  • Have a university degree in Commerce/Business Administration/Finance or related area;
  • CTP or another treasury/finance related certification would be considered an asset;
  • Have 3+ years of work experience in a Treasury environment or have relevant corporate banking, accounting, and/or finance experience;
  • Are a team player with strong communication and organizational skills and can work with contacts at varying levels;
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine when issue or engaging outside help is required;
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize competing deliverables;
  • Are highly proficient with Microsoft Excel;
  • Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate and present information;
  • Exhibit a continuous process improvement mindset and like to challenge the status quo; and
  • Are proactive with a high degree of initiative.
  • Knowledge of Treasury Management Systems, online banking platforms and a strong understanding of domestic and international banking and KYC requirements would also be considered as asset.
