Overview:
The Senior Analyst, Business Solutions plays a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex business issues. They will leverage data-driven insights from issues reported internally to improve processes and drive strategic decisions. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. The Senior Analyst, Business Solutions will create more organization around clusters of issues, flag critical or urgent issues that have broader, distribution-wide impacts, and help increase the speed of resolution to the Sales team.
What you’d be doing:
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and root causes of issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and challenges.
- Develop and propose solutions to address identified problems.
- Develop, track, and document a detailed project plan outlining tasks, timelines, and resources.
- Communicate issues identified, findings, and recommended solutions to internal stakeholders.
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions and suggest further improvements.
- Work to understand other departments' processes, utilizing problem-solving methodologies to propose solutions that align with organizational needs.
- Provide mentorship to analyst(s) to assist in team development.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the team in the Director’s absence.
- Regularly provide updates to leadership on status, trends, and escalations.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights that support the development and refinement of business solutions
- A proactive approach to identifying operational challenges and suggesting practical, data-backed solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present data and insights to various stakeholders and leadership
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, supporting cross-functional initiatives and providing assistance as needed
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- 3-5 years of experience in an analytical or business operations role (preferably within insurance)
- Strong experience with project management principles and a desire to grow in this area
- Bachelor's degree
Highly preferred candidates also have:
- P&C license
- Understanding or experience with SageSure processes
