About This Role

The Procurement Data Analyst is responsible for providing data and analytical support to the procurement team, focusing on category strategies, reporting, and data automation. This role also oversees the administration and development of PowerBI applications and PowerApps, driving insights and improving procurement processes. The individual will manage procurement data systems, perform in-depth analytics, and collaborate with stakeholders to support decision-making and operational efficiencies. This position will be responsible for leading the following activities as assigned by the PACE Team Manager.

Please note that this role requires a candidate to be a holder of work permit & residency in Poland.

What You’ll Do

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Develop, maintain, and enrich category data tables to support procurement strategies.
  • Generate accurate and timely reports for procurement contracts, projects, and RFx (Request for Information/Proposal/Quotation) processes.
  • Provide ad-hoc data analysis and customized reporting for category managers and procurement teams.
  • Automate data processes to enhance efficiency in reporting and analytics.

PowerApps & PowerBI Administration and Development:

  • Serve as the PowerApps administrator, managing the platform, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Act as the PowerBI reports administrator, overseeing report generation, maintenance, and access management.
  • Develop the PowerBI applications by creating dashboards, reports, and data models to provide meaningful insights and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement customized PowerBI solutions for procurement.

Category Strategy Support:

  • Assist in developing data-driven strategies to optimize procurement processes and sourcing activities.
  • Analyze procurement and sourcing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with category managers to ensure data insights are integrated into category management strategies.

Qualifications

Essential: 

  • Proficiency in PowerBI development, including creating dashboards, reports, and data models.
  • Experience in PowerApps administration and development.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.
  • Superior problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Mastery of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proven ability to work independently, plan effectively, prioritize efficiently, and deliver results.
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, data analytics, or a similar analytical role.
    • Strong analytical skills with a focus on procurement, sourcing, contracts, and category management.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey insights to stakeholders.
