Job Overview:
As part of the alternative investments team within Wealth Management Solutions (WMS), the primary responsibility of this role will be to support the implementation of the firm’s strategy for alternative investments. This involves sourcing, performing diligence, and monitoring of alternative investment products, primarily in the areas of DSTs and other real estate-focused alternative investment products. The role will involve collaboration with multiple internal groups and require strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work within tight deadlines. The Senior Analyst will contribute to the WMS group’s goal of delivering a world-class alternative investments platform. This role also maintains strong relationships with LPL’s investment manager partner firms to collaboratively deliver the necessary tools, resources, and communications that help LPL Financial advisors remain competitive.
Responsibilities:

Responsible for the initial diligence and ongoing oversight of approved alternative investment managers available for use by LPL Financial advisors. The primary focus will be on DSTs, and other real estate-focused products.

Lead presentations to LPL’s Product Review Committees

Assist in the creation of marketing material to benefit advisors and advisor-facing personnel

Work with compliance, trading and operations to assist with on-boarding products once approved

Work closely with the alternative investments VP in the development and execution of other platform initiatives, as well as WMS projects as needed

Requirements –
- 2-4 years of experience in the financial services industry, ideally at a broker/dealer
- 1+ years of experience performing investment analysis due diligence on illiquid alternative investment products, or relevant work experience within an alternative investment product sponsor

- Emphasis on asking questions and challenging standard answers and analysis
Preferences –
- CFA, CAIA, or progress towards
- Experience with Delaware Statutory Trusts, non-traded REITs, and private placements
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 (either have or be willing to obtain soon after hiring)
Pay Range:
$97,600.00 - $162,600.00
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
