Job Overview

M&A Solutions is part of LPL's Capital Partners group, a highly-visible and dynamic team focused on delivering industry-leading professional consulting to advisors around all aspects of their business planning – from acquisition growth to succession and continuity and the sale and transition of their business.

As a Sr. Analyst on LPL's M&A Solutions team, you will be part of the strategic development and delivery of industry-leading M&A consulting services for advisors to empower their M&A preparation, growth, and transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Support M&A transaction engagements with the ability to implement clear and concise strategies for execution

  • Ability to simplify the complex M&A process into a seamless experience for clients at all levels of expertise

  • Lead financial analysis with a strong working knowledge of M&A and finance concepts

  • Engage directly with advisors as a subject matter expert and M&A professional to thoughtfully consult and guide advisors through M&A planning and execution

  • Create and deliver internal management reporting the monitor and improve the results and delivery of M&A services

  • Manage ongoing advisor engagement from LPL's M&A network

  • Lead initial consulting engagements to assign advisor M&A needs and next action steps

  • Leverage technology to automate manual work and simplify processes to create a scalable, flexible, and efficient infrastructure

  • Partner with internal teams to ensure milestones are completed and advisor expectations are exceeded

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in finance, banking, and consulting

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Business, or a related field

Core Competencies:

  • A strategic thinker and effective communicator who is highly motivated and thrives in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong working knowledge of M&A best practices and trends to enhance the effectiveness of our services

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with advisors

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills desired

  • Ability to collaborate effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail

  • Self-driven motivation, positive attitude, commitment to excellence and integrity, and hunger to contribute

Preferences:

  • Experience with M&A or consulting within the wealth management industry is a plus

  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce is a plus


 

Pay Range:

$86,800.00 - $144,600.00


 

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
