About the Position

The Senior Accounting/Finance Manager will oversee the management reporting analysis for the Mid-Atlantic Region, maintaining strong procedures and financial acumen. The Senior Accounting/Finance Manager will report directly to the Regional VP of Finance and will have exposure with the corporate office and regional CFO. The right candidate will be entrepreneurial in nature and be able to work independently in a team environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly management reporting process including financial and operational reports and presentations

• Routinely communicate with corporate financial team and regional operations team

• Provide financial analysis of results to all appropriate parties on a quality, accurate and timely basis

• Proactively determine the information needs of business leaders and provide it on a quality, accurate and timely basis

• Lead all financial analysis and research related activities

• Drive continuous improvement across all job duties to ensure that results are reliable

• Manage and coach team of 3 for continued staff development

• Protecting the assets of the Company through the development and maintenance of effective and efficient internal controls

• Serve as internal business consultant on issues relating to profitability, internal controls, planning and budgeting

• Possess full understanding of all job related systems including ERP, general ledger, and operations systems

• Extract and summarize large quantities of data from systems mentioned above

• Assist with the Forecast and Budget preparation and compliance

• Assist with corporate and regional integration teams related to M&A transactions

• Assist with M&A due diligence and earnout calculations

• Assist CFO on projects as assigned

Required Experience

• Minimum of 5 years FP&A experience

• Experience with Hyperion and Oracle (preferably Cloud based Fusion) is a plus

• Advanced ability to effectively communicate with all company stakeholders both internal and external

• Advanced verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent decision-making skills

• Advanced skills utilizing MS Office Suite (Excel)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
