About This Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our financial processes, reporting directly to the Controller and playing a key part in both daily accounting activities and special projects. You will have a direct impact on the accuracy and efficiency of our financial records, contributing to informed decision-making across the organization. You'll be involved in a variety of challenging and rewarding projects, from streamlining month-end close processes to implementing new accounting standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid position, requiring 4 days in the office.
What You’ll Be Working On:

Month-End Close: Prepare and review month-end journal entries, reconciliations, and assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Revenue Recognition: Maintain compliance with ASC 606 – Revenue recognition criteria.

Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and process journal entries, reconcile accounts, maintain the general ledger, and assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

Process Improvement: Work with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and system upgrades, including assisting in the development and automation of financial reporting systems.

Audit Support: Support audit preparation by providing necessary documentation and collaborating with external auditors.

Compliance: Ensure accounting procedures and systems are efficient, accurate, and compliant with company policies and relevant regulations.

Ad-hoc Reporting: Prepare ad-hoc reports as requested by management.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:

Accounting Expertise: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Relevant Experience: 3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or equivalent.

CPA/CPA Candidate: CPA license or actively pursuing a CPA license.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with 1 a widely dispersed team.

Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed.

Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software.

Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve accounting issues.

Compensation:
Compensation will be paid in the range of $100,000 - $125,000. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
