About This Role:
Join our dynamic Accounting team as Sr Revenue Accountant, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining strong customer relationships both internally and externally, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving revenue recognition for our rapidly growing cloud services business. You will be responsible for accounts receivable, month-end and year-end close. This role requires a strong understanding of GAAP, particularly ASC 606, ASC 842, and ASC 326, and offers the opportunity to contribute to the financial health and success of a leading technology company. This is a hybrid role, requiring 4 days per week in the office and 1 day remote. (#INDHP)
What You’ll Be Working On:

Invoicing & Payments: Create and send invoices to customers for cloud services, cost reimbursements, and leases. Process payments and manage cash collections.

Customer Support: Resolve customer billing inquiries and issue credits within established thresholds.

Account Management: Create and maintain customer profiles and accounting data.

Credit Analysis: Analyze customer payment patterns and financial data to calculate expected credit losses under ASC 326.

Account Reconciliation: Reconcile AR aging and associated clearing accounts.

Revenue Recognition: Review and calculate complex revenue share arrangements with partners. Collaborate with the revenue accounting team to ensure compliance with ASC 606 and ASC 842.

Month-End & Year-End Close: Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.

Ad-hoc Reporting: Contribute to ad-hoc reporting and projects as requested.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: 3-6 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software. Experience with Sage Intacct, Floqast, and Coupa is a plus.

Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP, including ASC 606, ASC 842, and ASC 326.

CPA Pursuit: CPA license or actively pursuing a CPA license.

Process Improvement Experience: Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements within accounts receivable.

Systems Implementation: Experience with accounting software implementations or upgrades.

Compensation:
Compensation will be paid in the range of $110,000-$130,000. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
