Job Purpose/OverviewWorking under minimal supervision, this position maintains and controls the General Ledger accounts and transactions of the organization, applying generally accepted accounting principles that include analytical work and thorough review of financial accounting.
 
This is a Hybrid role based out of our Loveland, CO hub.The Target Pay Range for this position is $84,000 - $105,000 annually. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare journal entries and perform general account analysis and reconciliation
  • Identify and analyze reconciling items between the general ledger and supporting details, and follow through on the clearing of these items.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements
  • Support period-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Responsible for accounting for lessee leases under ASC 842
  • Ability to research technical accounting guidance and ensure appropriate application
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP) and internal controls.
  • Supports other functional areas by providing requested data, answering accounting questions, participating in cross functional teams and provides training as appropriate.
  • Seeks process improvements and problem resolution in all aspects of the job function.
  • Special projects as needed, including ERP implementation/testing
  • Responsible for global (Australia, New Zealand) accounting, GL accounts and transactions, audit request, maintaining controls, etc
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
     

Education and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 4+ years’ related experience in a large corporation or public accounting, or combination
  • In-depth understanding of US GAAP
  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred
  • Experience in ERP transition and implementation preferred
     

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload in order to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Oracle a plus, but not required).
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel (i.e. pivots, vlookups), Outlook and PowerPoint
