TL;DR

Our dynamic Finance team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the general accounting functions, including financial reporting, compliance, and auditing. This will require proactive ownership of your functions, not simply doing what is assigned. You will work closely with the CFO and will be involved in key projects impacting the entire organization.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Financial Close and Reporting

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes, ensuring accurate journal entries, analyses, and reconciliations
• Prepare and distribute financial reports (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) for decision-making
• Partner with teams to gather data for variance analysis and provide financial performance insights

Operational Finance and Compliance

• Manage the Quote-to-Cash cycle, including contracts, revenue, invoicing, and receivables, in collaboration with sales and operations
• Oversee Procure-to-Pay, ensuring timely vendor payments and cost efficiency
• Ensure accurate reporting and compliance in the Record-to-Report cycle
• Coordinate with tax advisors on compliance and timely tax filings
• Facilitate audits with accurate financial records and documentation

Process Improvement 

• Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement financial tools to support growth
• Collaborate on special projects like system implementations, financial due diligence, and acquisitions
• Guide and mentor accounting team and foster a collaborative team environment

WHAT YOU BRING 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or equivalent certification is a plus!
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Bonus points for additional experience in  SaaS or high-growth environments
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and analysis
• Proficient in Excel, financial tools, accounting software, and ERP systems
• Skilled at communicating complex financial information to diverse audiences
